Jewelry Pop-Up

We love art & community!

Blue Door Beads features a local jewelry artist showcasing their work for a three week Pop-Up Show. Artists host a private Opening Reception for friends and family on the fourth Monday of the month from 6:00pm-8:00pm. After the reception, their collection will be on display for sale for three weeks. Most artists are new to the jewelry-making scene and use this opening as their business-launching party. Stop by to see what is new and fresh in the jewelry world!

For additional information, inventory sheet, and photos from previous featured artists, visit our blog!

To inquire about showing your work, please click on the artist application tab above and submit your information (all fields required). Out of respect for other local stores, please refrain from applying if you currently sell your work on Piedmont Ave.

"When I offered to make some jewelry for my daughter’s holiday craft fair, I stumbled into Blue Door Beads for supplies and I feel like I haven’t left since. I love to browse the gemstones and beads, and pick out what I find unique, beautiful or interesting. When I get home, I spread it all out, throw things together and turn them into one-of-a-kind jewelry. Since my style of making varies from big, bold statement pieces to delicate gemstones and gold-filled pieces, I have something that everyone can connect to and love!

I was born and raised in the Bay Area with a big backyard and an instant love for the nature that surrounded us. My mother helped me cultivate a love and appreciation for a natural, California inspired garden; always ripe with fruits, vegetables and the colorful flowers that grew with them.

My father was born in Santiago, Chile and almost of his side of the family still lives there. We took many trips to visit our cousins and explore Chile’s gorgeous coastlines, mountains, inlands and everything in between. Throughout my childhood, my family enjoyed traveling to different Latin American countries and exploring the more rural and lesser known areas. This gave us a unique perspective of the country and memories that stayed vibrant in our minds.

My parents often brought back textiles, pottery and art from these trips and they all made their way into our home. It is from these trips and adventures that I find my inspiration and love for textures and colors that inspire my jewelry making.

I am a self-taught jewelry maker and I am learning new techniques and styles the more time I spend exploring this new venture.

I am so grateful to be able to explore this artistic and expressive side of my personality. I currently live in Oakland, CA with my husband and our 3 kids. My jewelry is available to purchase on my Etsy Shop under Noelita Jewelry. "
